World Communion Sunday

Observed on the first Sunday in October, this day calls the Church to be the universal, inclusive Church.  The day was adopted by the Federal Council of Churches in 1940, and shortly thereafter observed in Methodist and Evangelical United Brethren churches.
World Communion Sunday simply means that all Christians around the world will eat a piece of bread and drink a little wine or grape juice, all in the name of Jesus who taught us to remember him as we do this.
God loves us and He forgives us all our sins if we are truly sorry for them and confess them to God.  Every believer is always invited to come and partake of the bread and the juice.
God has a place for all of us at his table and on World Communion Sunday we celebrate with Christians from around the world.

All Saints Day

All Saints (November 1st or the first Sunday in November) is a day of remembrance for the saints, with the New Testament meaning of all Christian people of every time and place.  We celebrate the communion of saints as we remember the dead, both of the Church universal and of our local congregations.

May the Holy Spirit be with us all as we continue to grow in knowledge and faith, day by day, year by year.

In Christ's name,
Bro. John
